  • Chashma Ayub Mausoleum, linked to the Prophet Job.

  • The Ark Fortress, former residence of Uzbek rulers.
  • Zindan, the ancient prison.

Continuation of the tour:

  • Medieval trade domes from the 16th century.
  • Kalon Mosque & Minaret, the tallest in Bukhara.
  • Mir Arab Madrasah, still active since the 16th century.
  • Ulugh Beg and Abdulaziz Khan Madrasahs.

  • Bakhouddin Naqshband Mausoleum, dedicated to the founder of the Naqshbandi Sufi order.

  • Local bazaar, a lively place to explore traditional flavors.

Continuation of the excursion:

  • Gur-e Amir Mausoleum, the dynastic tomb of the Timurids (15th century).
  • Registan Square, the historical heart of Samarkand.
  • Bibi-Khanym Madrasah, built in honor of Tamerlane’s beloved wife, Saray Mulk.
  • El-Merosi Theater, showcasing traditional national costumes.

Departure for Shakhrisabz, the birthplace of Tamerlane, a city with over 2700 years of history.

Excursion highlights:

  • Ak-Saray Palace, Tamerlane’s summer residence.
  • Dor-us Saodat Complex, where Tamerlane’s tomb was initially planned.
  • Dorut-Tilovat Complex, home to the mausoleums of Tamerlane’s father and his spiritual mentor.
